Event Overview Back for the 10th year! — alt cycling's world championships of leaf peeping, right here in Killingworth Connecticut, deep in the heart of Nutmeg Country. Enjoy your choice of 5-7 scenic rides for all levels over the span of 3ish days during our finest fall foliage. Host Information Deer Lake Outdoor Center is our host for the third year on 250 bucolic acres of deep woodsy New England nostalgia. Accommodation: Bunk houses and lean-to's that are available first come first serve. Camping: So many stellar private camp spots peppered throughout the property. Pricing and Inclusions Goodie Bag: Special musette and cap, maybe bandana. Campus Access: Use of the entire Dear Lake campus (showers, bunks, campsites etc). Meals: Breakfast Saturday and Sunday (vegan or veg). Saturday Night: Pizza from fire in the kitchen and vegan food truck meal available. Routes: 6 detailed routes of your choosing (GPS files). Riding Details All rides are GPX strava and ridewithGPS files. Courses are unmarked and riders are on their own with navigation and food/water while out. If you are new to this kind of riding, it's a great opportunity to learn, or tag along with some new friends who know where they are going. Sunday Scorcher Race The Sunday Scorcher Race is a fixed gear off-road event featuring 2-3 spectator-friendly loops around the camp.
