Race Overview Event: 20th Annual Oakland Grand Prix Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026 Location: 400 21st St, Oakland, CA, next to Kaiser Center and Lake Merritt Hosted by: KAI VELO, Velo Promo, and Team Oakland Registration Details Opening Time: Opens at 7 a.m. on Franklin at 21st St Closing Time: Closes 15 minutes before each race's scheduled start Online Registration: Available at www.BikeReg.com Race Fee: $25 (pay full price online, get refund of all but $25 at the race) Directions Eastbound: From Hwy 580, take Harrison Ave/Oakland Ave exit, turn right on Harrison. Westbound: From 580, take MacArthur/Harrison exit and turn left on Harrison. Parking: Available in nearby lots. Note: Plan to arrive early to secure parking. Course Description Type: 0.75 mile rolling semi rectangular loop of city streets. Features: Four 90-degree right turns, including one hairpin right. Route: Franklin, 22nd, Webster, 19th, Franklin. Pavement: Good condition, has been repaved. Events and Schedule Category 4: 40 mins, 8:00 a.m., $100 Category 5 (novice): 40 mins, 8:45 a.m., $100 Master 50+ 1/2/3: 45 mins, 9:30 a.m., $100 Women 3/4/5 (novice): 40 mins, 10:20 a.m., $100 Prizes Cash Awards: 40% for races over $100: 30% for $100 or below.
