Event Overview Date: September 19, 2026 Location: 3552 Gore Rd, Highgate, VT Time: 8am to 3pm URL: BikeReg Registration About the Ride Description: A ride through the wilds of northern Franklin County starting at the Choiniere Farm Trails. Purpose: This is a fundraising event for the Franklin County Trails Alliance. Partnership: We’ve teamed up with the Choiniere Farm to help you connect with the land, the watershed, and the amazing trails in this region! About the Organization Mission: The Franklin County Trails Alliance promotes responsible trail use, conducts trail maintenance, and advocates for the development and accessibility of local non-motorized, off-road recreational trails. Learn More: Visit www.fctavt.com for more information. The Details Registration Fee: Your registration will include lunch, fantastic rest stop treats, and socks for $70. On-Site Registration: Day of ride registration increases to $100. Route: Two loops of 17 and 43 miles, beginning at the Choiniere Family Farm trails in Highgate. Scenery: The ride will travel along the border with Canada, by Lake Carmi, and on a section of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. Sunday Rides Location: Highgate, Vermont sits on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (LVRT). Trail Length: The LVRT is a 93-mile trail connecting Swanton, Vt. to St. Johnsbury, Vt. Nearby Trails: The Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail intersects the LVRT just six miles from Highgate.
