Race Overview Randonneuring—non-competitive, long-distance cycling, where you follow a pre-planned route and attempt to finish within a set time-limit—is a great way to test your endurance, navigational skills, and fortitude. Route Description On this Century-Plus-25-mile ride, you'll be on a flat to gently rolling route that will bring you to the Jersey Shore, passing through many of the top summertime destinations. The one climb of significance will be Mount Mitchell in the Atlantic Highlands which offers beautiful views of Sandy Hook and the New York skyline. Finish Requirements Time Limit: Finish within 13.5 hours (or 20 if riding the 300K) and you're qualified to call yourself a Randonneur! After Sunset: It is possible for riders to be out on the route beyond sunset. Safety Gear: For those riders, lighting and reflective gear are required.
