Challenges: Known for its fast, flowing singletrack and technical rocky sections, the trail challenges competitors with steep climbs, thrilling descents, and sweeping views of the Bradshaw Mountains and Sonoran Desert. Pathways: Riders navigate a mix of cactus-lined paths, dry creek crossings, and exposed ridgelines that test both endurance and technical skill. Trail Highlights: With its combination of natural beauty and demanding terrain, the race offers a true test of grit and determination while showcasing one of the state’s premier long-distance trails. Race Details Start Points: Starting in Mayer, AZ at Chauncey Ranch, 70-mile racers will get to warm up a bit on the road before diving into the single track and heading south. 35-Mile Race: The 35-mile race starts at Deep Canyon Ranch in Black Canyon City, AZ and, once on the trail, will race the lower half of the full course. Finish Line: Both races conclude at the Pioneer Living History Museum. Post-Race Celebration After Party: Survive the race and be ready to party. Enjoy music and food and the company of the other survivors. Museum Entry: Registration cost includes entry to the museum for the day as well.
