Race results with live updates will be available here: Coming Soon Event Notes Race Name: The 12 Hours of Old El Paso or 12 HOEP is a team relay or solo racer mountain bike event held on the northeast of the beautiful Franklin Mountains, in El Paso, Texas. Organizer: It is brought to you by EP Outdoor Adventures. Venue: The venue is at Chuck Heinrich Memorial Park. Date: This year our race will be held rain or shine on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Schedule Thursday, October 22: 4:00pm to 8:00pm – Packet pickup location: TBD Friday, October 23: Schedule details coming soon Saturday, October 24: 8:00am - 12 hr Check-in Open 8:30am - 12 hr Check-in Close 8:40am – 12 hr Pre-Race Meeting 9:00am - 12 hr Race Start 2:00pm – Kids (U14) Bike Race 9:30pm – Podium Awards Race Details Costumes: One of our greatest attractions are the costumes that our competitors come up with for the event. Prizes for the best overall costumes! Race Start: The 12 hour race starts at 9:00am with a Lemans style start. Race Finish: The end time for the race is 9:00pm. All laps that count towards the final position standings must be completed by 8:59:59pm. The Course: The course is about 12.5 miles in length and consists of smooth, fast flowy trail, short sections of small-to-medium rocks, and more.
