Race Overview Come and enjoy miles on miles of gravel roads around beautiful Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, home of the PA Grand Canyon! We have another fresh course for 2026, a few roads overlap from previous years courses and we are changing the direction of travel on some favorite roads from years prior. This route, like every year, is a BEAST! Course Details Full MAMMOTH Course: 132 miles with roughly 13,000 ft.+ of elevation gain. Loop Structure: Two separate non-overlapping loops starting and ending in downtown Wellsboro. Morning Loop: 64 miles long: Afternoon Loop: 68 miles long. Half MAMMOTH: Ride the 64-mile morning loop and finish after the morning session. New Route Information Quarter MAMMOTH: An abbreviated version at 39 miles with around 3700 ft. of climbing. Breakfast and Lunch: Included for Quarter MAMMOTH riders, as well as aid stations. Challenge Level: Not necessarily "beginner friendly" but still a great challenge. Aid Station: Local businesses provide hearty food at aid stations included in registrations. Event Policies Weather Policy: This event will happen rain or shine: no refunds or deferrals offered. Registration Insurance: Consider adding registration insurance if worried about weather. Navigation: Use a bicycle computer or phone app for the best navigation: a GPX file will be emailed to registrants. Route Marking: Marking can vary based on weather conditions before the event.
