Race Overview Event Name: Norfolk CT Tour de Forest and Icebox Gravel Date: October 17, 2026 Location: 70 Golf Drive, Norfolk, CT URL: BikeReg Race Distances Icebox Gravel: 30-mile ride of mostly gravel roads. Tour-de-Forest: 13-mile ride with an even mix of gravel and paved roads. Scenery: All roads are very rural, scenic, and for the most part, very lightly traveled. Private Road: Half of the Tour-de-Forest is on a private gravel road with no cars allowed. Bike Recommendations Bike Type: Bikes with extremely thin tires are not encouraged. Best Options: A hybrid or mountain bike is best. Event Schedule Refreshments: Free refreshments will be available at the curling club. Registration: Starts at 8 am. Rides Start: Both rides start at 9:30 am. Registration Fees Adults: $50 Teens: $25 12 & Under: Free Supporting Causes Proceeds: All proceeds go to supporting the Norfolk Rails to Trails and Great Mountain Forest.
