Event Overview The Paranormal is back for 2026! Join us for another edition of this classic, Halloween-themed 6-hour endurance mountain bike race. Race Details Date: 2026-10-17 Location: 5421 Markwood Rd, Earlysville, VA URL: BikeReg Format: 6-hour endurance on an 8+ mile singletrack loop. Race Rules Teams: For team/duo categories, one participant will be on course at a time. Start Time: All categories begin together at 4pm. Lap Requirements: Solo riders and teams can start a new lap anytime before the 10pm cutoff. Costumes: Racers in costume will receive a head start. Lighting Requirements Course Illumination: The course is not illuminated, so lights are required. Safety: You must have lights on your bike and/or your person. Free Camping: Available on site. Food & Drinks: Available for purchase during the race. Registration Information Same-day Registration: Available, closing 30 minutes before race start. Pre-registration: Strongly encouraged for participants. Food and Drink Beer: Free beer from Rockfish Brewing Company for participants 21 or over. Food Truck: TBD will be present at the race.
