About this race

Welcome to Green Mountain Cyclocross! Date: Racing will be on Sunday, October 11th. Skills Clinics: We will also have 2 free skills clinics on Saturday, October 10th. Support: This event is run by Green Mountain Off-Road, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, in partnership with the Catamount Outdoor Family Center. Proceeds: Proceeds from the race will help support the GMCX development race team, Catamount's youth programs, as well as other local youth cycling organizations and racing endeavors. Race Licenses Sanctioning: GMCX is sanctioned under North American Bicycle Racing Association (NABRA). Membership: No membership or annual licenses are required. Licensing: There is NO requirement for a USA Cycling license. Participation: JUST SHOW UP AND RACE! Junior Races Free Entry: ALL JUNIOR RACES ARE FREE thanks to generous support from Nick Depasquale Photography . Additional Race Registration Info Second Race: REGISTER FOR A SECOND RACE FOR $20! Camping: Limited camping spots available on-site Saturday night for $15 per person. Parking: Parking at COFC is tight: please follow our volunteer parking attendant’s instructions. Pets: THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE CATAMOUNT OUTDOOR CENTER. Course Details Length: The course consists of an approximately 1.6 mile lap. Terrain: Includes a mix of fun and technical turns, punchy climbs, and longer power sections. Dismounts: The course includes several dismounts, and we expect the fastest riders to cover the lap in about 7 minutes. Views: Expect baller views!
