Event Overview Dirt for Dinner is a fall community mountain bike ride and fundraiser bringing people together around bikes and food justice in Vermont! Event Type Non-competitive: This is a non-competitive event open to mountain bikers of all abilities. Ride Options: Riders will have the option of a chill led ride or aggressive led ride. Supported Nonprofit Organizations Salvation Farms: Salvation Farms’ mission is to create a future where all are fed and farms are thriving. Through partnerships, effective use of available resources, and skill-building, we work to fully integrate surplus food from local farms into a resilient and sustainable food system. Intervale Center: Intervale Center’s mission is to strengthen community food systems that sustain farms, land, and people. Hunger Free Vermont: Hunger Free Vermont’s mission is to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters. Event Details Location: Perry Hill Date: Saturday, October 10 Arrival: 10:00 AM Ride Start: 10:30 AM Post-Ride Activities After the ride, we’ll hang out at the parking lot with snacks and information about the organizations supported.
