Ann Arbor Short Track Mountain Bike Race Date & Location Date: 2026-10-03 Time: 3:30 PM (Kids fun race begins) Location: Olson Park , 1515 Dhu Varren Rd, Ann Arbor, MI Race Overview Fun Event: Enjoy a Saturday fall afternoon & evening racing mountain bikes! Low-Cost: Affordable racing for kids, teens, and adults of all abilities. Race Duration: Races are 30 minutes or less. Non-Technical Course: Ideal for beginners, no experience necessary! Registration Fees Adults: $20 Juniors: $15 Kids Fun Race: Free Spectators: Everyone is welcome to cheer! Registration Details Online Registration: Open until 15 minutes before race start time. Same-Day Registration: Requires proof of registration. Check-in: Please check in as soon as you arrive. Helmets: Required at all times! Course Information Course Length: ~1 mile loop, mostly single-track. Fun Race Loop: 0.4 mile loop for kids on paved, flat track. Passing: Call out when passing slower racers. Bike Requirements: No E-bikes, must have brakes. Awards & Prizes Categories: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category. No Cash Prizes: Glory and bragging rights only! Kids & Juniors: All will receive popsicles! Food & Drink Food Truck: On-site food truck available. Beer Tent: Refreshments will be served. Bring Your Own: Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Pre-Ride Opportunities Open Riding: Olson Park is open for mountain biking. Taped Course: Course will be open for pre-rides from 12 PM to 3:30 PM on race day.
