Central NH Tucker Tour '26
About this race
Race Overview The Tucker Tour is what you get when you connect all of the amazing Class VI roads in and around Mount Kearsarge and Ragged Mountain in beautiful central New Hampshire. What is a Class VI road you ask? Well, the state of NH defines a Class VI road as an existing public way that has “not been maintained and repaired by the town in suitable condition for travel thereon for 5 successive years or more.” Course Details Terrain: Expect every sort of terrain, from paved and gravel roads to unrideable hike-a-bike paths through the woods. Distance: The 80 mile course has only 15 miles of paved roads and around 38 miles of unmaintained Class VI. Difficulty: Many paths are steep, making this ride significantly harder than the distance suggests. Alternative Routes: For those looking for shorter distances, there are 62, 36, and 24 mile options available. Self-Supported Ride Navigation: Participants must navigate independently using the provided .gpx route or Strava route: no cue sheets or navigational aids provided. Provisions: There are 2 general stores/gas stations along the route at approximately 19 miles and 54 miles. Preparation: It is strongly suggested to load multiple routes on a device in case a change to a shorter course is necessary. Expect the Unexpected: Be prepared for challenges along the ride. Participant Perks Completion Rewards: Each participant will receive a sticker and a mug featuring this year’s unique logo design. Satisfaction of Accomplishment: Completing the ride is a noteworthy achievement in itself. Community Spirit: Join a community of like-mind…
