Event Overview Organizer: Join the Pennsylvania Environmental Council for the 8th annual Public Lands Ride! Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 Location: Black Moshannon State Park and Moshannon State Forest, 4216 Beaver Rd, Philipsburg, PA Registration: Click here to register . Ride Description Event Type: A non-competitive mixed-surface ride celebrating bikes, community, and public lands! Courses: Three marked courses - 65 mile, 42 mile, and 22 mile, featuring diverse terrain. Tire Recommendation: Tires at least 35mm, preferably 40-45mm due to varied terrain. E-Bikes: Permitted but must adhere to DCNR's e-bike guidelines, found here . Support and Amenities Aid Stations: Every 15-20 miles stocked with real food, plus a post-ride meal and beverages. Course Marking: All courses will be marked at turns and intersections. Sponsorship: Opportunities available – contact Molly Kestner at mkestner@pecpa.org . Proceeds: All funds benefit the Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC). Saturday, September 26: Registration from 7:15-8:45 AM: all rides start at 9:00 AM: post-ride cookout all afternoon.
