Event Overview Enjoy the beauty of Western Maine from the seat of your bicycle, as you grind the gravel for 35 - or more - miles. As the first and longest running Gravel Grind event in Maine, event coordinators are thrilled to invite you to take in the fresh air, foliage, wildlife and excitement as you embark on this ride through private, gated roads/trails, taking in breathtaking views and experiencing real Maine beauty. Schedule Race Date: 2026-09-12 Location: 2745 Main St, Rangeley, ME Start Time: Scheduled to begin at 8:00 am. Time Changes: Time may be adjusted on race day as needed. Course Information 2026 COURSE IS STILL IN THE WORKS. FINAL COURSE OUTLINE WILL BE DECIDED MID-SUMMER AND DISTANCES WILL BE ANNOUNCED. Terrain and Support Hilly Terrain: Be prepared to test yourself on challenging hills. Rest Stops: Set up with water, energy bars, and opportunities to rest. Finish Line: Celebrate at Saddleback with food, prizes, and stories. Stocked Aid Stations: One/Two on the course with limited support. Prizes Categories: Men & Women. Winners: Top 3 in each category. Prizes: A mix of local swag and handmade goodness. Note: Event will occur rain or shine: all registration donations are non-refundable. Safety Information Helmet Policy: Helmets must be worn and fastened at all times. Traffic Rules: All racers must obey all rules of the road.
