Event Overview Family Friendly Event: All ages all welcome with three distance options available. Safety Requirements Helmets: All participants regardless of age must wear a helmet. Race Day Details Date: September 12, 2026 Registration Time: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at the Town Square, Seneca Street, Oil City, PA. T-Shirt Availability: Any available shirts will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Start Time: 9 a.m. at the Town Square, Seneca Street Oil City, PA. Race Format 5-, 6-, or 7-Card Draw Options: All participants will receive 5 cards by stopping at dealer tables along the route. However, they can increase their chances by picking up a 6th and 7th card by cycling additional mileage. Only the best 5-card hand will be used to determine the winner. The 5-card out-and-back course is approximately 9 miles: the 6-card course is approximately 12.5 miles: and the 7-card course is approximately 16 miles. Course Information Course: Town Square to McClintock Well to Haggerty’s Ice Cream to Oil City Marina to Suzette Nellis Memorial (5-card turn) to picnic area (6-card turn) to River Ridge (7-card turn), back to the Town Square for the final card. The course utilizes the McClintock, Oil City, and Samuel Justus bike trails, which are part of the Erie to Pittsburgh trail system. Post-Event Activities Picnic/Prize Announcement: A post-event picnic will be held at the Town Square, Seneca Street, Oil City, PA. Prize announcement will take place at noon.
