99 Miles of Bad Road

About this race

Race Overview 99 Miles of Bad Road is a gravel bicycle race starting and ending in Hardy, Arkansas. Expect every road surface type, with roughly 80% being unpaved. Don't let the elevation profile fool you - devices have picked up 100 feet or more of elevation gain per mile. These are relentless rolling hills with an occasional punchy climb or chunky descent. Everything from mud, dirt, gravel, concrete bridges, clay, crushed limestone, creek rocks, broken pavement, and more. This route earns its name. This is an ‘even year’ so we will be running the 99 Mile and 199 Mile loops clockwise! Make sure you download the EVEN YEAR files. Awards Finishers: All finishers will receive a cool memento! Top Performers: Top 3 in each category will receive a unique custom award. 199 Mile Route Oh, and we also have a 199 Mile route option... all 199'ers will be required to provide their own live GPS tracking - either via phone, Garmin, Spot, etc. (Via Trackleaders - we will send a registration link about a month before the event. It will cost $80 to rent a tracker through them or $30 to bring your own device). New Addition for 2026 NEW in 2026 - We are adding a shorter, “49 miler” to the schedule of events. This will start and end in the same place, but at 9AM, on its own standalone route! Updates Check the website and Facebook regularly for updates!
