Celebration: Evan & I met after I moved to the island, became friends, and now we want to celebrate our people the most! How to Get to the Island: Ferry Service: Madeline Island Ferry Line boats run every half hour from 10a-6p with a few later evening drops. Travel Time: This is a 2.5 mile and 25 min ride. Vehicles: All vehicles are allowed and tickets are first come first served. Schedule: Visit www.madferry.com as this schedule may change. Provisions to Bring: Camping Gear: Pack like you would to tent camp: bring food & any gear you may need. Essentials: Plate, bowl, utensils, reusable cafe cup, etc. Store Info: Darlings Grocery is open 7 days a week 10a-6p. Requirements: Bike lights, helmets, & locks are required. Parking: Location: Public restrooms & free overnight parking is located at 868 Whitefish St, Bayfield, WI 54814 known as the “public lot”. Parking Tips: Please set up camp, drive with your bike to park here. Camping at the South Shore House: Location: 320 Big Arns Rd: campers will enter the driveway from South Shore Rd. Camping Space: Tent space and some room for van setups are available. Facilities: Biff’s for restrooms, potable water, no electric hookups. Restrictions: Please no dogs as our ducks are free range.
