We can do this NECX! :) Event Highlights New to bike racing?: Hydra Cross is a great event to try out bike racing or cyclocross for the first time. Free Clinic: A free intro to cyclocross racing clinic at 8:00 am on race day. Categories: Novice men should sign up for the 9:00 am category 4 race: novice women for the 11:00 am category 4 and 5 race. USA Cycling: You will need a license which can be purchased when registering. Course Description Design: A fun, fast, twisty course that is primarily flat but has some surprising uphill sections. Start: Starts with a slightly uphill, wide path from the "Legion Shelf." Challenges: Contains off-camber sections that will require your skills. Spectating: The course runs along a long, linear park with ample opportunities for spectators. Race Atmosphere Family-Friendly: Beer garden and picnic area suitable for families. Activities: Includes a playground, splash pad, and popular skate park. Community Feel: Known for good vibes and a sense of community. Food: The excellent Thai Chili Street Food Hub will be serving food.
