RCV Prospective Member Practice and Tryouts

Event Overview Event Date: 2026-08-30 Location: 4105 Jones Bridge Rd, Chevy Chase, MD Registration URL: http://www.BikeReg.com/rcv-tryouts Eligibility: Junior riders must be 9 years old by December 31, 2027. What to Bring Bicycle: Riders should bring a mountain or cyclocross bike. Helmet: Safety gear is mandatory for all participants. Hydration: Bring water for practice. Bike Preparation: Remove any racks, bags, or bottle cages for easier handling. Team Participation Bike Rentals: Opportunity to rent a cyclocross bike from the RCV loaner bike fleet. Meet Coaches: Coaches will meet with riders and families to discuss interests and availability. Observation: Attending the entire practice is encouraged to see drills and meet families. Networking: Great chance to interact with current team members and families. Additional Information Weather Policy: Practice may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
