Race Details Date: 8/30- Blunt Park CX - Springfield, MA Upcoming Races: 9/5- Hydra CX - Holyoke, MA 9/26- Kilowatt Cross - Northfield, MA 10/18 Treehouse CX - South Deerfield, MA 11/7- West hill CX- Putney VT Junior Participation Free Entry: To promote our local juniors, ALL Juniors get to race for free at Blunt Park! Course Information Course Type: The course will be basically the same great course as in past years with a few modifications. Length: It is approximately 2+ miles long and is made up of pavement, grassy fields, and single/double track. Terrain: It’s flat, fast and has more than it's fair share of turns. Spectator Friendly: Bring the family as the venue is very spectator friendly with a fun atmosphere for the spectators. Also, please be prepared as the park has a nominal parking fee for all vehicles. Registration Information Pre-registration: PLEASE PRE-REGISTER! 2nd race only $10. Field Limits: 20 min, 75 max for all categories. New Riders: We are offering a Cat 5/Novice field for Men and Women. This field is intended for new riders and racers looking to try out the sport. Directions Location: Blunt Park is just minutes from major highways (MA Pike, RT 91 & RT 291). From East or West: Mass Pike (Rte. I-90) to exit 6 (Route 291). Take 291 West to Exit 5 (Rt 20 West). At first lights take a left onto Roosevelt Ave. Park is about a mile up on the right.
