Event Overview Join us for the 5th Annual Macedonia Gravel Grinder! Routes feature spectacular views and some of the best gravel racing in the Northeast. Registration includes custom event swag, well marked course, stocked aid stations every 20 miles & Entry into the Post Race Party. Race Registration Macedonia Preview Video Timed Races The 2026 edition of The Mac will feature timed races combining two super segments. There will be a neutral start for the first 3.4 miles to get everyone warmed up before the race horn sounds. Racers will then hit their first race super segment followed by 2 miles of neutral riding to cross the one lane Bulls Bridge then a second longer super segment. Race Categories 19 & Under: Separate categories for youth racers. 20-29: Young adult participation in racing. 30-39: Competitive field for those in their 30s. 40-49: Opportunities for racers in their 40s. 50-59: Category for experienced racers. 60-69: Senior participants in gravel racing. 70+: Age group for our oldest racers. Note: Based on sign ups we reserve the right to combine age groups to ensure a competitive field. Course Marking & Route Files Course will be well marked with coroplast arrow signage at all turns and all registered racers will have free access to our RideWithGPS event account on race day to follow the route with visual and audio cues.
