2026 MATTS 3RD ANNUAL VELODROME 4K TT (Sponsored by ABD and PACT) Event Details Date: 2026-08-08 Location: 1479 Maple Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062 URL: BikeReg Link Registration Details Membership Requirement: Participation requires an American Bicycle Racing (ABR) membership (annual or single-day). Purchase and sign the waiver here: American Bicycle Racing Membership On-site Registration: Race-day/on-site registration is available for an additional $10 fee. Race Schedule 8:00am: Volunteers and Recumbents 9:00am: Men Cat 4-5 10:00am: Juniors (boys and girls) (5 laps for juniors under age 10) 11:00am: Women (all age groups and categories) 12:30pm: Men age groups 60 and above 1:30pm: Men age groups under 60 2:30pm: Men Cat 1-2 and Cat 3 Start times will be emailed to participants after online registration closes on August 6. Back for 2026: Road Bike Category Bike Choice: Choose between a Time Trial (TT) Bike or Road Bike for all categories. Road Bike Definition: Drop or straight handlebars permitted. No tri-bars, clip-on bars, or Spinaci bars allowed. No disc wheels: both wheels must have at least 12 spokes. Maximum rim depth: 90mm. Purpose: Encourages broader participation by leveling the playing field for racers without TT bikes. If your bike qualifies for a road race or criterium, it’s eligible here. Track Event: For this Track event, you can ride a fixed gear track bike. If it has aero bars and wheels, you should enter the TT Bike category.
