GUTS GRAVEL GLORY Event Information Race Date: Sunday, Aug 2, 2026 Location: Pocahontas State Park, 10301 State Park Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832 Entry: Chip timed race for all distances Photos: If available, race photos will be complimentary downloads Start Time Time: 9 a.m. Number Pickup: Begins at 7:45 a.m. at the RunRideRace tent with the Registration flag Course: This is a dirt road/gravel race with a bit of double track Equipment Bike Types: Gravel, CX or mountain bikes work well! Timing: This event will be chip timed. Timing chip will be on your race number Number Placement: Numbers will be placed on your bars so the number is exposed from the front Race Details 8 Lap Race: This is an 8 lap race with each lap GPSed to about 5.5 miles Finish Distance: The finish will be just under 45 miles Time Limits: Cutoff at 2:45 hours for those already on a lap: a hard cutoff will be set at 3 hours 6 Lap Race: This will have a 2.5 hour limit to start your last lap, same as in past years 3 Lap Race Distance: This is a 3 lap event, totaling about 16.5 miles Time Cutoff: There is a 3 hour time cut off Aid Station Location: Located near the completion of each lap Water Station: Water can be refilled, and bottle hand-ups will be allowed Support: Bring a friend or teammate to hand you your stuff Course Map/Profile Map Link: Course Map For further details and registration, visit the race page: Guts Gravel Glory
