Event Overview Please join OMS for the Gravel Gallop bike ride on August 2. Riders can start at 8:30 am, but feel free to arrive at your convenience. Route Options Distance: 9 mile, 32 mile, and 45 mile loops Location: All routes in beautiful Plymouth, VT Terrain: Great diversity and some challenging climbs Starting Point: Plymouth State Park, registration fee includes day use of the park Ride Format This is a fun, non-competitive, self-guided ride. There are no aid stations or volunteers along the route, so please carry plenty of water and dress appropriately. Road Conditions Road Type: Quiet dirt roads Warning: Mindful of other users and lingering washboards in some sections Notable Areas: Descending Old Turnpike towards Rt.103 has challenging washboards Advice: “When in doubt, chicken out” - a great mantra!
