Northeast Velodrome Summer Championship Series Event Dates Date: August 2, 2026 Location: 23 Grenier Field Rd, Londonderry, NH URL: Event Registration Schedule Track opens: 9AM Racing begins: 10AM Race Categories Open 4/5 (non-championship): 15 laps Open P/1/2/3: 24 laps Masters Women 45+/55+ (Cat 1-4): 15 laps Open Masters 45+ (Cat 1-4): 24 laps Explanation of Races Scratch: Race runs the determined number of laps: top 5 taken at the finish. Points Race: Sprints every 6 laps: points are doubled for the finish: ties in points are broken by finish of last sprint. Tempo: The first two riders score 2 and 1 points every lap, with additional points awarded on the final lap. Elimination: The last rider across the line at designated intervals is eliminated. Omnium Scoring Points awarded: for placing in each event as follows: 1st - 40 points, 2nd - 38 points, etc. Final standings: determined by total accumulated points. Tie-breaker: Higher placing in the Points Race. Bonus: 5-point bonus for riders who compete in all four events. Series Scoring Accumulation: Series standings accumulate across all four race dates. Series tie-breaker: Most recent superior placing. Cancellation: The promoter reserves the right to cancel races that do not meet minimum field limits.
