Chesapeake Criterium - A VACA BAR Event p/b TowneBank Date: August 1, 2026 Location: 212 Holt Dr, Chesapeake, VA Register here: Chesapeake Crit Registration Registration Information Online Registration Fee: Increases Friday evening at midnight. On-site Registration: Available by the START/FINISH LINE: from 7:10 AM until 1:45 PM. Add a $10 late fee (except Juniors). Entry Fee: Includes $7.50 USAC & VCA fees. Juniors $10 per race. License Requirement: A valid USAC license must be presented at registration. Race Details USA Cycling Rules: All USA Cycling rules apply. Scoring: Combined races will be scored separately. Course: A 0.8 mile pancake flat wide loop. Facilities: Bathrooms and showers are available at the Great Bridge Community Center. Promoter Notes Race Changes: The promoter reserves the right to combine or change races if a minimum of 10 riders is not met 2 weeks before race day. Start Times: In the event of combined or modified fields, start times can also change. Awards Medals for Women: Championship medals will be awarded separately to Women Cat 1/2 and Women Cat 3 riders. Medals for Men: Championship medals will be awarded to Men/Open Cat 1/2 riders only. Prize Money: Any field with 50+ preregistered riders receives an additional $750 in prize money. Increased Prize Money: Any field with 75+ preregistered riders receives an additional $1,250.
