About this race

Welcome to Tour De French Welcome to Tour De French, a USA Cycling and INKY Cycling sanctioned road race in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Event Highlights Activities: The town of Frenchburg and Menifee Tourism are planning a fun day of events with vendors, food trucks, and games for kids. Kids Race: There will be a free kids race on Back Street after the start of the adult race. Course Details: The course will take you from Main St onto Beaver Dam Rd winding along the southern edge of Cave Run Lake. Lap Structure: Novice Categories and Citizens will do one lap while others will do two. Awards: We will do awards for Top 3 in all categories with at least three riders. Category Adjustments: Categories with less than 10 registered riders may be combined for larger group starts. Safety Notices: Racing on open roads: the start/finish chute is the only section fully closed. Safety Information Course Marshals: We will have course marshals at every turn and a police presence in each area possible. Racer Guidance: Never cross the center line or the center of an unmarked road. Support Vehicle: Currently, we only have one neutral support van and mechanic following for major mechanicals.
