Event Overview United Way of the Southern Tier and Corning Credit Union will hold a free children’s Bike Safety Rodeo as part of the Tour de Keuka charity ride at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, at the Hammondsport Fire Station grounds. Activities Learning Opportunity: Children will learn about basic bicycle safety rules. Games: Participants will engage in fun activities. Bicycle Requirements: All participants must bring their own bicycle and wear a bike helmet. Prizes: All participants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. Community Contribution Each participant is asked to bring a new, unopened hygiene item for the Back-to-School toiletries drive (i.e. toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, combs, and brushes). Registration Information Cost: Registration is free and is requested in advance. Participant Limit: Registration is limited to 60 participants.
