Race Details Race Date: Sunday, Aug 2, 2026 Start Time: 9am Pickup: 7:45-8:45am Aug 2 at the tent with the black and white REGISTRATION flag. Location: Pocahontas State Park, 10301 State Park Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832 Parking Information Parking Fee: Standard parking fee will be collected by state park employees unless you have a state park permit. QR Code: There will be a QR code option just prior to the parking lot. Ticket Warning: You will likely receive a ticket without a valid permit attached to your rearview mirror. Transition Area: Plenty of room for team tents and personal support: you will pass the transition every 5.5-6 miles. Course Description Direction: The course will be clockwise on dirt road/paths ranging from 8-12 feet wide. Loop Distance: The loop is approximately 5.5 miles in distance. Race Distances: Races will be approximately 44, 33, and 16.5 miles. Map Release: 2026 Map will be posted by July 10. Equipment Bikes: Gravel, cross, or mountain bikes work great. Historical Use: All types have been ridden historically. Timing Chip Timing: This event will be chip timed! Chip Placement: Chip must be placed on your race number facing forward. Results Results Posting: Results will be posted online at this link: Results Race Options 50 Mile: 8 lap race, approximately 44 miles depending on your GPS accuracy. Time Cutoff: Last lap cutoff is at 3 hours. 36 Mile: New option this year with a 3 hour limit to start your last lap. 18 Mile: 3 lap race, approximately 16.5 miles.
